Custom Branding: Why Your Booking Widget Should Look Like YOUR Company

You’ve invested in your fleet, trained your drivers, and built a local reputation. Then a potential customer clicks “Book Now” on your website — and a generic-looking form with someone else’s branding appears.

That disconnect costs you bookings.

Your web booker is a brand touchpoint — often the first direct interaction a customer has before they commit to paying. If it looks like yours, it builds confidence. If it doesn’t, it introduces doubt. Here’s how to fix that in under fifteen minutes.


The Three Core Branding Settings

Navigate to Web Booker Settings → Branding to access these controls.

Your Logo is the most important element. Upload a PNG with a transparent background that works on a light interface. This single addition immediately tells customers they’re booking through your company, not a third-party tool.

Your Brand Colour controls every interactive element in the widget — buttons, highlights, calls to action. Enter your hex colour code directly into the Main Colour field. If you’re not sure of the code, your designer will have it, or use a free colour picker tool on your existing logo.

The “Powered by TaxiWebBooker” Toggle — when disabled, your booking form becomes fully white-labelled. No external attribution. Just your logo, your colours, your name. For operators with established local brand recognition, this is one of the highest-impact settings in the entire platform.


Choosing How Your Booker Sits on Your Website

Once your branding is set, the next decision is how the widget appears on your site. From the Home menu, click “Add to website” to access four integration methods — each with its own additional colour, font, and layout controls that go beyond the base branding settings.

Floating Popup Widget — A fixed button that stays visible as users scroll, opening the full booking flow in a popup overlay. Best for operators who want booking accessible from every page without dedicating layout space to it. You can customise button text, position (e.g., bottom right), button shape, and separate colours for button background, button text, and general UI elements.

Inline Widget — Embeds the form directly into your page. Best for a homepage or dedicated “Book Now” page where booking is the primary purpose. Offers three navigation modes: scroll on the website, scroll within the widget, or open subsequent steps in a popup. Full colour and button style control included.

Popup Text — A clickable text link or button that opens the booking flow in a popup. The lightest-weight option, with maximum flexibility for placement in menus, content areas, or existing call-to-action buttons.

iFrame — Embeds the complete booking system in a self-contained iFrame. Best for older CMS platforms or sites with limited JavaScript support. Notably, this is the only method that includes font style selection (e.g., Roboto, sans-serif) — useful if typographic consistency with your site matters.

All four methods share a common set of styling options: buttons and elements colour, text colour, background colour, and button shape. The iFrame adds font control on top of these.

Picking the Right Integration for Your Site

The choice comes down to your website’s purpose and structure. If booking is the whole point of a page, use the Inline Widget. If you want booking available everywhere without committing page real estate, use the Floating Popup.

Once you’ve chosen your method, the process is: configure your settings → copy the generated code → paste it into your site’s HTML → save and reload to confirm.

Your booking widget is the first time many customers interact with your business digitally. A branded, coherent experience tells them they’re in the right place and removes the hesitation that kills conversions. An unbranded one does the opposite.
